We are looking for a Data Scientist with experience in the insurance sector and actuarial training. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in SQL and Python and will work closely with data engineers and business teams to develop data-driven solutions.

Requisitos

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in the insurance sector.
• Background in actuarial science, statistics, applied mathematics, or related fields.
• Advanced knowledge of statistics, probabilistic models, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning.
• Experience in SQL and data modeling (including query optimization, partitioning, and indexing).
• Familiarity with data processing tools such as Pandas, Spark, and Airflow.
• Experience with cloud storage and processing (AWS, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.).
• Ability to work with large volumes of data and integrate with existing systems.
• Experience in agile methodologies and best practices for data pipeline development (CI/CD, infrastructure as code).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with MotherDuck and DuckDB.
• Familiarity with DataBricks and Airbyte.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and data modeling in new solutions.
